MT. ENJOYABLE – For nearly a year the Crown Motors location sat unoccupied, but Krusen Motors has since filled the lot.

Krusen Motors is a family owned dealership selling new and used vehicles in the Mt. Pleasant community.

This is Krusen Motors’ first location in Iowa, but they already operate in Marshall, Minnesota.

Krusen Motors chooses to dive right into the community of Mt. Pleasant.

At their Memorial Day Sale event, Krusen Motors partnered with KILJ to not only offer deals on cars, but also grills and enjoyed chatting with community members.

The company has previously sponsored local organizations like Mt. Pleasant Disc Golf and the Iowa Barrel Racing IA NBHA District 5 group.

Krusen Motor President and CEO Keith McKinzie and CEO Kris McKinzie have also been members of the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber Alliance since July and the Mt. Pleasant Noon Rotary group.

“We are delighted to welcome Krusen Motors to the Chamber,” said Delaney Van Ness, Membership Director for the Chamber of Commerce. “They are going to be a great asset to our community and we are grateful for their support!”

Now is the time to officially celebrate this new addition to the Mt. Pleasant community with a ribbon cutting and ribbon-cutting event on August 15 at 4 p.m. with the Chamber of Commerce.
