Bristol Street Motors Carlisle CUPRA has been named a finalist for the manufacturer’s Dealer of the Year awards.
The award is based on the performance of over 60 CUPRA locations across the UK, including sales, order intake and, most importantly, customer satisfaction. Particular emphasis has been placed on PHEV vehicles, with CUPRA set to launch its first fully electric car, the CUPRA Born, which will have a range of over 260 miles.
CUPRA was launched as a brand by the Volkswagen Group four years ago and in 2021 its sales have tripled with 80,000 vehicles delivered.
Bristol Street Motors Carlisle CUPRA is run by Andrew Brinsden and has CUPRA specialist Hayley Gibson on its team.
Simon Horabin, Franchise Director for Bristol Street Motors CUPRA, said: “This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team.
“Hayley is a true CUPRA ambassador, but all of her colleagues have embraced the brand and the progress it is making, especially the first electric vehicle that CUPRA will soon release, for which they are already taking orders.
“I’m incredibly proud that the dealership not only received this accolade, for a difficult time in many ways, but continues to perform well in 2022. Well done everyone!”
Robert Forrester, Managing Director of Bristol Street Motors, said: “I was delighted to hear that our Carlisle CUPRA from Bristol Street Motors has been recognized nationally in the CUPRA Dealer of the Year awards. What a testament to our team there.
“We only had a CUPRA franchise in the city for a short time, but it has gone from strength to strength, delivering excellent performance and the levels of service our customers have come to expect.”
