Penicuik Athletic switches gears with new car dealership sponsor

The East of Scotland Premier Division side have welcomed the investment and highlighted the difference it will make to the club in the future as they fight for promotion to the Scottish Lowland League and seeks to encourage more local people to support the team.

The club’s commercial director, Andy Penman, said: “We have entered into a two-year agreement with AF Noble & Son which allows the club to plan ahead in footballing and financial terms.

“Sponsorship allows us to invest in our players through better equipment, for example jerseys and training materials.

“We are a club at the heart of the community and it is very important to us that we have local involvement through sponsors and our supporters and the community recognize the links between the club and a great local business.

“The agreement brings us stability, local partnership and local involvement with a reputable company.

“Our goal this season is to return their faith in us by hoping to do better in the league than last season and bringing continued success to City.”

John Allan, Director of Sales at AF Noble & Son, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring Penicuik Athletic. As a major business in the area we are happy to support the local community where we can and thought this would be a great opportunity.

“Penicuik Athletic enjoys an excellent reputation in the region and as title sponsor our brand will be recognized across all club platforms including social media.

“We will also feature on matchday programs and of course our logo will appear on the team’s game shirts.”

AF Noble & Son is a long established and run family business in Midlothian, with a history dating back to 1932.
